How to turn a Stateful Azure Service Fabric Service into a Stateless Service

Due to changing requirements, I was in need to convert an existing Azure Service Fabric Service, which was Stateful into a Stateless one. To achieve this, I simply created two vanilla Services. One Stateful and the other one Stateless. Now it was pretty simple to compare those projects with a tool like Beyond Compare.

I took some Screenshots, to show you the differences. Luckily you just need to change a few lines. Here you go:






Then open the file ApplicationPackageRoot\ApplicationManifest.xml and add the following lines to the tag DefaultServices.

The old service tag can be removed. Additionally add the following parameter:
